If a child asked you about God, how would you answer?

What do you remember?

I say that because I feel children have just left the Space of Creation that Love is, that God is, that we Are, and there is a knowledge and awareness of that Source that a child carries. "God" becomes a word they hear and so they ask about the word "god" along with "Why is the sky blue," and "How do birds fly." My answer to their question is a way of saying to them that they already Know what God is. I am only pointing them back to an understanding that exists before the Word.

Sacred
Sitting with the sun this afternoon was sacred to me.  I was enjoying Yoga Journal and the dear words of Sally Kempton.

What one person do you wish you could reunite with?

Funny you should ask that. Just this morning I was thinking about "Brenda." I can't even remember her last name. She was one year younger than the rest of us when we graduated high school because she skipped a year. The day after graduation she skipped town. She packed up her green Dodge Dart and drove off to Banff Alberta to find work and her life. I admired her bold gutsy "move" then, and I still do today. And just this morning...I was thinking about her. If I could remember her last name I'd ask Google where she is...but wherever she is...Blessings!!! Brenda.
